Do you have a degree from your country of origin or from Austria? Do you speak German at minimum B1 level or English at minimum B2 level? Do you have free access to the Austrian labour market through your residence permit and are you looking for work? Then the MTOP Associate Programme is the right choice for you.
We start the Associate Programme three times a year. You can apply at any time for the next programme start.
First, you fill out the application form at this link. You send us your CV and answer two short essay questions about yourself. If you meet the requirements and we are convinced by your application, we will invite you to an assessment centre where we can get to know each other better and present the associate programme.
After a successful application and a successful assessment centre, we will invite you to become an MTOP Associate. If you decide to join the programme, you will start shortly after the assessment centre.
The Associate Programme lasts 6 months. In the first two months you attend weekly workshops where we work together on your CV and application documents. After that, you can take optional in-depth courses such as German, English or Excel for two months. In the last two months, we focus on your job search and individual coachings to bring you closer to your goal!
The MTOP Associate Programme is aimed specifically at third-country nationals. Unfortunately, EU citizens cannot participate.
Yes, if you were unable to complete your studies or training for certain reasons (e.g. fleeing your home country), you can still become an MTOP Associate.
The Associate Program is offered in both German and English. If you have a German level of B1 or higher, we recommend participating in the German program as it will help you to further improve your German skills. If you participate in English, your English level should be at least B2 or higher. You can also attend a language course first and apply for the next programme.
65% of our Associates find a job within 12 months after completing the programme. Through the MTOP Associate Programme you learn important tools that make you fit for the job market and for applying for jobs on your own. It is important that you are active and focused on your job search. Together we will get there faster!
- Some of the workshops are online, some take place offline at our office in Vienna. We try to make the program available for people also outside of Vienna or with family commitments by hosting many workshops online, while also offering the possibility to connect with us and other associates in person. Please note that not every workshop can be attended online.
- Coaching sessions can be booked online or at the office, depending on our availability and your preferences.
Please always let us know when you can’t participate at a workshop! We upload the material of every workshop on your Google Drive for you to access, so you can catch up on the content. If necessary, you can also book an individual coaching session to discuss the content you missed.
Yes, you can. You can participate at the online workshops and for the offline workshops, you can use the material we upload on Google Drive. In case of any questions, you can book an individual coaching session or just send us your questions. If you don’t live in Vienna, we don’t require you to come to any workshop - but you are of course welcome to do so.
Most of our company network is in Vienna and surroundings. The optional in-depth courses of Phase 2 mostly take place offline in Vienna.
It takes 6 months. If you need support for your jobsearch also after those 6 months, we are still available.
We offer the same workshops from Phase 1 in English and in German. (Only occasionally, some workshops from Phase 2 could be held either in English OR in German.) If you sign up for the English program, you can let us know if you also are interested in attending any workshops in German, as German plays such an important role in the Austrian labour market.
If you find a job during the Associate Program, we are of course happy for you! If you still have time and wish to attend our workshops, you can of course continue to do so. However, if attending our workshops and starting your new job doesn't work out in terms of time, we totally understand and you can also end the program. If you need support at the beginning of your new work, you can also book individual coaching sessions with us at any time.
